Hosting
This site runs on a DigitalOcean LLC server in Frankfurt, Germany. On each request the server logs IP address, time, requested URL, browser and referrer; logs are overwritten after 14 days at the latest. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Language routing and the "sprache" cookie
On the first visit to the start page we read your browser’s language preference (Accept-Language) to route you to the German or English version. If you choose a language manually, the cookie "sprache" stores that choice for one year. It contains only "de" or "en" and is necessary for operating the site.
Purchases via Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) and Stripe, Inc. (USA). At checkout you enter name, email, billing address, tax ID where applicable and payment details directly with Stripe; payment details never reach our server. We receive purchase data from Stripe (service, amount, billing details, chosen platform) to fulfil the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to retain invoices. Stripe also processes data in the USA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. See stripe.com/privacy.
Email delivery
Confirmation and onboarding emails are sent via Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Recipient address, subject and message content are transmitted. Legal basis is contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Contact form
Data from the contact form (name, company, email, budget, message) is sent to us by email so we can answer your inquiry. It is not stored in a database. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
Analytics only with consent
We load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) only if you consent in the consent dialog (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Both services set cookies and transmit usage data, including to the USA. We store your choice for six months in the cookie "am_consent"; you can change it at any time via the link in the footer.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact support@aurex.llc. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Transfers to third countries
The provider of this site is based in the USA. Where data is transferred there, this happens for contract performance (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR) or, for the named processors, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
